Effective and last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy covers both Benyany (the client app) and Benyany Pro (the business app), published by UXUI W.L.L. ("we", "us"), CR 124544-2, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. If you have questions, contact us at abdulla@weuxui.com.
| Data | Why | Shared with |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number | Signing in (we send a one-time code by SMS), and identifying who you're chatting with | Twilio (to send the SMS only) |
| Name | Shown in chat and on your documents | — |
| Chat messages, photos, videos, voice messages, files you send | The core of the app — talking with a fit-out business or your client | Anthropic and Google, only when our AI assistant "Maya" works on them (see "Maya and AI features" below) |
| What a business user gives Maya to work on in Benyany Pro: requests typed or spoken to her, voice notes, photos, floor plans, receipts, documents, and the quotation, project and business details she uses | Drafting replies, quotations, translations, reports, shopping lists and room previews that the business asked for | Anthropic and Google, only after that person has allowed it in the app (see below) |
| Location | Only if you choose to share it in a chat message, or for scheduling a site visit. When you open the place picker we use your position to look up what is nearby, to turn a dropped pin into a street address, and to draw a small map of the point | Google Maps Platform, for those lookups only — the coordinates you pick, never your continuous movement |
| Project details, quotations, invoices, contracts | The documents a fit-out project runs on | — |
| A contact you choose to share | Sending someone's name and number into a chat, the way you would forward a business card. The app opens your phone's own contact picker and receives only the single contact you pick | The people in that conversation |
| Push notification token | Delivering notifications | Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) |
Maya is the AI assistant in Benyany and Benyany Pro. To do her work she sends the data below to two outside AI services, which process it and send her answer back:
What is sent. Only what Maya is asked to work on: the words typed or spoken to her, the chat messages she reads or replies to (which can include a client's name, phone number and messages), and the photos, plans, receipts, documents and quotation, project or business details she uses for that task. The app does not add your Benyany password, sign-in codes or card details to what it sends. Anything you type, say or upload to Maya, though, is sent as it is, so please don't include details like these there.
When, and with whose permission. In Benyany Pro, Maya and the AI features ask first: the first time someone uses one, the app explains what is sent and to whom, and nothing is sent until they tap Allow. They can withdraw this at any time in Settings › Privacy, which stops their own new requests straight away; it does not take back conversations already handed to Maya. Separately, a business can hand a conversation to Maya so she replies by herself; from then on the messages in that conversation are sent to these services to write her replies, until the business takes the conversation back. A conversation that Maya does not answer and nobody uses Maya on never goes to them.
If you are a client. Maya and the business's team use these AI services on client conversations. When a business has handed your conversation to Maya, or its team uses Maya on your conversation, the messages, voice notes, photos, plans and documents you send there, and the details of a quotation request you make, can be sent to these services. In the latest Benyany app, you are told this and agree before Maya answers you herself. If you write to a business on WhatsApp or Instagram, Maya may answer you there too. If you would rather be answered by a person than by Maya, you can ask the business; its team may still use AI tools on the conversation.
How they treat it. We use these services through their commercial APIs and share only what each task needs. We do not sell this data or let these providers use it for advertising.
WhatsApp and Instagram. A business can connect its own WhatsApp Business or Instagram account so clients can reach it there instead of in the app. When a conversation runs over one of those channels, the messages in it travel through Meta's systems and are subject to Meta's terms as well as this policy. Conversations inside the app do not go near Meta.
Payments. If you pay an invoice by card in the app, your card details are entered directly into a secure payment page hosted by AFS (Mastercard Gateway) — we never see or store your card number. We only keep a record of the invoice amount and whether it was paid.
No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no third-party analytics or tracking beyond Firebase's own delivery telemetry for push notifications. No biometric or health data. We don't read your calendar or your device's SMS inbox.
We do not upload your address book. Sharing a contact opens your phone's own picker, and only the one contact you choose is sent — the app never reads, indexes or stores the rest, and on both iOS and Android that picker works without granting the app contacts access at all.
Your account and chat data are kept as long as your account and the workspace/project it belongs to exist. Quotations, invoices, and contracts are financial and legal records — Bahraini bookkeeping and tax rules require the business you worked with to retain these even if you later delete your account, so a deleted account's name may still appear on a document another party legitimately keeps for their own records.
Open the app, go to Settings → Delete my account (Benyany Pro: Settings → Support → Delete my account), and confirm. This is immediate and can't be undone: your name, phone number, and photo are permanently removed and you're signed out everywhere. As noted above, documents you were already party to (quotations, invoices, contracts, and the messages in shared conversations) are kept by the other party as their own business record, not tied back to a live account of yours.
If you can't access the app, email abdulla@weuxui.com from the address or number on your account and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to the backend is limited to the workspace and role a given login is authorized for.
Benyany and Benyany Pro are business tools for arranging interior fit-out work and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
